Founded in 2008 by Nicolas Bartholomée, the French classical label Aparté intends to be at the cutting edge in terms of communication and transmission, while providing artists with a fair distribution. The catalogue includes artists such as Les Talens lyriques (Lully's Phaéton), cello player Ophélie Gaillard, viola player Lise Berthaud and pianist Adam Laloum (Schumann, Schubert, Brahms), Vanessa Wagner and Stravaganza (Corelli sonatas).
