PART 1 OF 3 - A banging set from Toronto's Jason Spanu aka DJ SHINE, longtime player in the global dance music scene and currently touring the world as the programmer in Nelly Furtado's live band.
This half-hour studio session is a real-time multi-dimensional view of his technique, with some backup viz using Resolume. Jason uses Abelton Live with Final Scratch to reshape the sounds of minimal, electro, techno and house music, often mixing 3 or more songs together at the same time.
DJ Shine's debut album, 'Thinque', is available at Beatport, iTunes, and all major download sites. He is currently completing his second release, ATTENTION DEFICIT DISCO, due out early 2007.
