Bug! review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Bug! for Sega Saturn developed by Realtime Associates and published by Sega. It's Bug! I mean, Bug!! (One of those bangs is part of the name.) Realtime Associates and Sega provided one of the first steps into that elusive third dimension of platformersn back in 1995, and since it's a mid-90's platformer, the sassy iconic mascot character is pretty much a given. By utilizing narrow paths and simple geometry, Bug! managed to avoid the control issues that frequently plagued early 3D platformers. It's all mixed with hyperactive vocal clips (as is befitting a bug... I mean, Bug!), and a very advanced sense of self-artifice, as evidenced by the film-set motif. This video review features video gameplay footage of Bug! for Sega and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
