It looks like the X-Men franchise is going to get a little bigger as Fox reportedly is eyeing a movie based on Marvel's X-Force comic. That's right mutant fans, it's time to go bananas as X-MenFilms.com has learned that Fox has registered the domain name for X-Forcemovie.com. Of course, a domain name doesn't a confirmation make, but there have been several signs that an X-Force movie was possible. Mark Millar, who's helping to oversee Fox's Marvel properties, previously stated that the X-Men universe was as big as the non-mutant Marvel universe and specifically mentioned X-Force when talking to Comic Book Recources last year stating that the first issue of the comic book was the second biggest comic book of all time behind X-Men #1 and had a strong, built in audience. And with Comic-Con just around the corner, the timing suggests that we may be getting an official announcement from Fox regarding the project at next week's convention. For those of you unfamiliar with X-Force, they were a spinoff team lead by future mutant soldier Cable. The team took on a more proactive role in dealing with threats to mutantkind than their X-Men counterparts, but still held the principles of Charles Xavier. With next year's X-Men: Days of Future Past reported to help establish a cohesive universe that will include Fox owned properties like X-Men and Fantastic Four, an X-Force movie seems like a logical choice. So who's excited for the possibility and which characters would you like see join the team? We'd love to hear your thoughts down in the comments, over on Twitter @ClevverMovies or on our Facebook page and be sure to like us while you're there. Until next time, I'm Erin White, thanks for watching!
