This is a book aimed at Teens through to Young Adults; I would suggest in the terms of BBFC ratings, (Were it a film) a 12 rating.
There is some bloody violence, horror scenes and injury detail in the book. I recommend it to readers who are enthusiastic about horror, vicious creatures and nightmares, but if you are easily frightened by darkness and horror, I would advise against reading.
