STORY: A large fire broke out at a shopping complex in Phuket, Thailand late on Wednesday night (October 16), local media said.
No casualties have been reported.
Thai media said at least one thousand employees and shoppers were inside the complex when the fire started at around 9:40 p.m. local time (1440 GMT).
At least three hundred firefighters fought the fire, local media reported, with homes and businesses in the area evacuated as a safety precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, local media said.
