What bodies have been recovered so far of the Laos air crash victims were moved to this temple at Pakse on Saturday.

The movement of the remains in refrigerated coffins was overseen by doctors, hospital workers and police.

As the coffins arrived villagers prayed for the victims.

All 49 passengers and crew on board the flight from the capital, Vientiane, to Pakse were killed when the plane crashed into the Mekong river on Wednesday.

Three days on, search teams are still scouring the river for bodies.

People from 11 nationalities were on board the aircraft which came down just eight kilometres from its destination.

Aviation officials say bad weather from the tail end of Typhoon Nari may have been a factor in the accident.
