Attempted murder charge for rock throwing man who hurt driver

An unemployed man in his 30s was arrested on Tuesday for attempted murder. Masanori Kimura stands accused of throwing stones at oncoming cars while he was riding a scooter in Iruma Saitama early on Tuesday. One rock broke a woman's windscreen and sprayed her with glass, inflicting minor injuries on the driver, a restaurant owner.

Eight similar attacks took place on the same day. The suspect, Kimura, got a warning from police 16 months ago for throwing a scandal at a moving car. The similarity with this incident caused police to look him up and bring him in for questioning where he subsequently confessed to all charges. He confessed that he hit nine cars with rocks he threw from his scooter, because it's fun to scare other drivers.
