The project Orho-eman aims to close the gap between engineering and medicine, by the development of a comprehensive interdisciplinary virtual training system for human motion analysis. The project's training platform will provide a repository of training material with real clinical case studies using digital imaging and motion analysis that will stimulate the practical learning of the theoretical materials.
The main aims of the 3rd consortium meeting were to review the state of development of the activities in progress related to the training platform, evaluate the results from the pilot testing and to define in detail the remaining tasks to ensure the project success.
All the partners in the consortium attended to the meeting: University of Cracovia (Romania) – UCV; National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos"(Greece) – NCSR; Instituto de Biomecánica (Spain) – IBV; Clinical Emergency Hospital Bucharest (Romania) – SCUB; Democritus University of Thrace (Greece) – DUTH.
The Ortho-eMan project (LLP/LdV/ToI/2011/RO/008) is funded by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme.
