L'enthousiasme et le talent de deux hommes : Renaud Capuçon, violoniste de renommée internationale et Dominique Bluzet, directeur du Grand Théâtre de Provence, le soutien affiché de Michel Lucas, président du groupe Crédit Mutuel-CIC, partenaire fondateur, ont conduit, en 2013, à la création d'une nouvelle manifestation majeure pour la musique classique, le Festival de Pâques d'Aix-en-Provence.
Située au coeur du pays provençal, Aix-en-Provence rayonne par son patrimoine architectural exceptionnel, l'harmonie et la force de son environnement naturel et son dynamisme culturel. Autant d'éléments qui en font une destination privilégiée.
Cette deuxième édition du Festival de Pâques vient renforcer une tradition musicale remarquable et positionne désormais la ville comme une métropole européenne incontournable.

The shared enthusiasm of two men: Renaud Capuçon, a violinist of immense talent and Dominique Bluzet, Direc tor of the Grand Théâtre de Provence, along with the support of Michel Lucas, President of the Crédit Mutuel-CIC bank, partner for the next five years, led to the creation of a major new event in the hear t of beaut iful Provence : Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival.
The Easter Festival is set in the heart in Provence, Aix, where all is color, music and sensation: the light of the sky, the golden stone of the facades, the transparent green of the fountains, the shade of the plane trees and an outstanding musical tradition...
