Tomasz Trzciński
The Polish musician Tomasz Trzciński is active in many different ways in the field of music. He studied in his home town Szczecin, in Gdańsk and in Mainz where he was a participant in the EuropaChorAkademie for several years. He received considerable impulses for his artistic work as a student of the world-famous Polish pianist Lidia Grychtołówna, under the renowned conductor Joshard Daus, under Manfred Reichert ("Ensemble 13") in contemporary music and through the two jazz musicians Vitold Rek and Janusz Stefański. In his artistic work he combines the roots of his Polish homeland with the classical, modern and jazz.
As a pianist, Tomasz Trzciński has devoted himself particularly to improvisation and new music. In his active concert work, the series of concerts with the "Köln Concert" by Keith Jarrett and works by J.S. Bach and D. Shostakovich particularly fired audiences with enthusiasm through the exceptional concept as well as the interpretation of high standard "with enormous breadth of tonal variation and virtuosity". In 2005, he gave the first Polish performance of "Köln Concert" in Szczecin, his first solo album "Blue Mountains" appeared in 2006 with "Köln Concert" and his own improvisations.
Tomasz Trzciński is also intensively engaged as a conductor, chamber musician, composer, arranger and teacher. Since 2008, he has been artistic director of the Kilian Ensemble Mainz/Wiesbaden with which he performs classical and other music of a high standard. Since March 2009, he has directed the Laubenheim Brass Band which he has formed into a swing and jazz band in great demand in the region.
Tomasz Trzciński is the founder and manager of the production company "QualityInMusic" in which the client profits from his extensive artistic experience and his wide specialist knowledge among other things in studio and concert recordings, in CD mastering and in setting music.
