STORY: Irish musicians performed at a luncheon in the Capitol on Friday (March 14) for Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, U.S. President Barack Obama and members of congress.

During the performance, Obama nodded his head to the beat of the famous song "Black Velvet Band."

After the luncheon, Obama, Kenny and House Speaker John Boehner walked down the Capitol steps to the president's waiting motorcade.

In an earlier Oval Office meeting with Kenny, Obama said he still hopes for a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis heading into a pivotal weekend.

Obama reiterated to reporters that there would be consequences should Russia refuse to loosen its grip on the Crimea region of southern Russia.
