Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Moero TwinBee for Famicom Disk System developed and published by Konami.
TwinBee started this nonsense, and it finds a follow-up in Moero Twinbee: Cinnamon-hakase wo Sukue. But it's not just the same vertical-scrolling, adorable action... no, this time, every other stage is turned 90 degrees into a horizontal scroller. It seems like a miniscule difference, but with the way the bell-juggling power up system works, it ends up greatly affecting the difficulty of the game. The "balancing" of this, though, manifests in the addition of a third player, using a controller or joystick plugged into the Famicom's expansion port.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Moero TwinBee for Famicom Disk System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
