The city of Portland is planning to dump 38 million gallons of drinking water because somebody urinated in the Mt. Tabor Park Reservoir 5.

Said a Portland Water Bureau administrator, “Even though there is very minimal public health risk, the bottom line is that our commitment is to serve water that’s clean, cold and constant. “That doesn’t include pee. Not from people, at least.”

The culprit is a 19-year-old man, and his poor choice of places to relieve himself was caught on video.

Footage shows that he and 4 fellow skateboarders were milling around the water supply’s gatehouse.

Before long, three of them headed towards the water. When they got there, one unzipped his pants, leaned against the fence, and shortly after pulled his pants back up.

The two others tried to climb the barricade. One made it over and may have walked into the water.

Perhaps they didn’t see the nearby sign that alerts passersby that it’s the city’s drinking water supply.

The video shows that after they contaminated it, they focused their attention to taking selfies.

Thus far, the perpetrators have been cited with suspicion of trespassing and the one accused of public urination.

The pipes that carry the water into and out of the reservoir were shut off immediately.
