Vindan was born in troubled Sri Lanka and raised in exile across London, Borneo and Australia on a steady diet of raw blues, old-school rhymes, vintage soul, Afro-Caribbean sounds and assorted exotica which he weaves into fresh new material. Caught between the new world and the old; his songs are are tales of transformations, culture-shock, transcendence and common ground.
Featuring lean, percussive guitarwork and haunting vocals; Vindan is gaining recognition for his unique melodic and lyrical beauty and passionate live shows. He is currently recording his debut solo release "Songs to Surround Me" between sun-drenched Sydney and icy Berlin with Martin.J.Fiedler (Josh.T.Pearson).
