His wife, Dr Gurinder Kaur Thind, a graduate of Buddha Dental College, Patna, specializes in Preventative and Pediatric Dentistry. She runs the Thind Dental Clinic in Urban Estate, Dugri Road, Ludhiana near Southern Bypass, along the Doraha Canal.

Both Dr Thind and Dr Gurinder Kaur Thind attend national and international dental seminars and workshops as participants to update themselves about the latest international techniques in advanced dental care. They conduct continuing education seminars for the school students

and free dental check-up camps for poor people residing in the industrial and rural areas in and around Ludhiana.
