Two Russian base jumpers made their first hair-raising wingsuit flights through the cliffs of the Zhangjiajie National Park in May. The pair's flight saw them pass between precipitous mountains and past near-by cable wires. It took them around 30 seconds to land safely.

Zhangjiajie National Park is home to the 3,544 ft Southern Sky Column, the natural wonder that inspired James Cameron's Avatar.
