ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has suspended licence of ARY TV channel for airing anti-judiciary programs besides slapping it with Rs10 million fine.
The authority took a serious notice of violations committed ARY News. the meeting unanimously decided to immediately suspend the licence of ARY News for a period of 15 days and imposed fine of Rs10 million on it.
The PEMRA also banned programme “Khara Sach” aired on ARY News and its anchorperson Mubasher Lucman, forthwith on persistently airing contemptuous and malicious campaign against the judiciary
