Verfremdungseffekt

Two films in one. The soundtrack from a tourist movie about Greenwich Village, New York City, distorted by synth effects and attached to an American socialist workers' movie from the depression era. Visual distortions and a moving wall of colour match the audio distortions. All in all intended to generate Bertolt Brecht's "Verfremdungseffekt" or, perhaps, "Alienation Effect".
