This week our host Ayesha takes the opportunity to share how Ramadan was observed in the US. Ayesha shares her experience of meeting volunteers and organizers of a local Eid toy drive held at Adams Center where the community comes together to wrap presents for underprivileged children. She also attends Herndon Without Hunger, a event where the community provides low to no income households with rations and food items as part of a good will gesture during the holy month of Ramadan and after. The entire show presents the various ways the Muslim community here ensures they stay true to the teachings and guidelines set for Ramadan and them as Muslims and how they observe them.
