BEST SALSA EVER!!! :)

Fresh Garden Salsa with Heirloom Tomatoes and EASY Canning Methods with Christie Aphrodite

http://souljourneysradio.com/fresh-garden-salsa-with-heirloom-tomatoes-and-easy-canning-methods/

There is nothing better than fresh salsa from the garden during the summer and early fall months for me! IN fact I use it on almost everything I make! I use it to boil rice, beans and quinoa, I use it in my spicy black bean hummus, and who doesn’t love a crispy quesadilla, eggs, or some non gmo organic blue corn chips???

This seriously tastes great on anything! Use generously to add a little pizzazz and flavor to any meal! :-)

In this video I show you some of the heirloom tomatoes and peppers I grow this year in my garden! It was sooo fun because every batch of salsa came out just a little different. Some more tangy with the yellow pear, kiwi, pineapple and apple tomatoes….and some sweeter with the amazon chocolate or chocolate stripe tomatoes! I got all my organic heirloom seeds from Bakers Creek in Missouri! They have an amazing variety! I share with you about a dozen in this video and my step by step tutorial! :-)

My recipe is very basic, but I have yet to find a better salsa from coast to coast, border to border and in between. The magic ingredient is LOVE! Don’t forget your hands ARE wands! Put a little love and creativity in what you prepare and I promise your family will taste the magic! :-)

Ingredients:

variety of heirloom tomatoes such as chocolate, pear, kiwi, pineapple, striped, golden jubilees, weisbehaarte, white and about half a dozen others (as seen in the video)
variety of peppers….sweet bells to spicy habaneros, cayenne, jalepeno, serrano….
green and yellow or white onions
garlic
cilantro
cumin
sea salt

As always don’t be afraid to use your own creativity! This is why I RARELY use EXACT measurements on any of my recipes….sometimes I want more spice….sometimes I want less. Sometimes I want something different! Sticking to recipes never made anyone a great chef! It comes from the heart! Feel it…and make it according to YOUR specifications! Your family and friends will LOVE you for it! Who wants to eat cloned food??? :-)

Hope you enjoy!

Blessings and Love,
Christie Aphrodite
