The Mohave County Sheriff's Department has released cellphone video showing a 9-year-old girl shooting her gun instructor. The video freezes just before the bullet strikes 39-year-old instructor Charles Vacca. Vacca was airlifted to a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada but died a few hours later.
He was showing the girl how to shoot an Uzi machine gun on Monday (August 25) at a gun range in Mohave County, Arizona. She fired the gun once with it set on "single rounds," but then Vacca set the gun to fully automatic. When the girl fired the gun again, the recoil caused it to swing around and shoot Vacca in the head.
Police are investigating.
