'Guardians of the Galaxy' guards top spot at box office
It's another triumphant weekend for "Guardians of the Galaxy."
The film, already the biggest moneymaker of the year, continued its assault on the box office even after a month in theaters, securing the number one spot with $10.2 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales.
Coming in second this weekend at the box office is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which brought in $6.5 million in ticket sales.
That was followed by the teen-focused drama "If I Stay," which netted $5.8 million, according to studio estimates.
