Vadodara police to use WhatsApp to counter malicious rumours - Tv9 Gujarati

Vadodara: Police finally seem to have realized that technology can be utilized to counter its misuse by miscreants during the recent communal rioting in the city. The detection of crime branch (DCB) has started circulating a message on Whatsapp requesting people not to spread rumour through the chat application. The police have also appealed that if people get any morphed images of religious structure, they should delete them.
