Muhammad in the Bible
Should we translate names in holy books? A jewish Rabbi recites the Song of Solomon(5:16) in Hebrew:
"Hikko mamittakim we kullo MUHAMMAD-IM zehdoodee wa ze zehraee bayna Jerusalem."
Translated to:
"His mouth is most sweet: Yea, he is (Muhammad-im) altogether lovely, this is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem." [Song of Solomon 5:16]
