The San Francisco Giants just won their third World Series Championship in five years last night in front of a packed crowd of Kansas City Royals fans at Kauffman Stadium winning an exciting Game 7. The Giants, behind the arm of Madison Bumgarner once again, were able to come out on top 3-2.
Old man Tim Hudson and not-so-young Jeremy Guthrie took the mound for the Giants and Royals, respectively. Both had trouble early and made early exits.
Pablo “Kung Fu Panda” Sandoval was on fire all night, while yoga pants Hunter Pence wasn’t himself. Alex Gordon was huge and also sacrificed his body along with Perez’s leg on a few wild pitches.
Herrera was throwing straight heat, and then Royals terminator Madison Bumgarner stepped on the mound in the 5th inning and completely shut things down.
In the end Bumgarner and the Giants were just too strong and won the game 3-2. The Giants now have dynasty rights after winning their third World Series in five years. Congratulations to the 2014 World Champion Giants.
