Marking the Day of the Dead in Mexico

A cemetery in Metepec, Mexico, came to life on Saturday (November 1) as the country marked the Day of the Dead.

Hundreds lit candles to remember their loved ones.

The day, fused with the Catholic festivals of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, is one of the most deeply-rooted traditions in Mexico.
