USA: Drone footage captures MASSIVE LA inferno
An enormous blaze erupted in central Los Angeles and a Ruptly producer captured the fire on drone-borne camera flying over the flames.
A seven story apartment block which was under construction in the city's downtown caught fire around 1:20 AM local time and the inferno could be seen from miles around.
Local authorities were forced to close down sections of two major freeways in the vicinity of the fire as more than 250 firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department battled to control the inferno.
The flames spread to a nearby high-rise residential building and firefighters fought the blaze for three hours before bringing it under control.
No deaths or injuries have been reported and the Fire Department are investigating the circumstances have yet to establish a cause.
