Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine’s flawless on-screen chemistry in Into The Woods is just an extension of their witty hilarities off-camera.

“I mean it's... I can barely contain myself - ahhhh Chris,” she tells ET Canada. “There you go, it’s okay,” interjects Pine. “Stop torturing me,” responds Kendrick.

But the two co-stars are also joined by a talented cast for the Disney musical fantasy film, including the likes of three-time Academy Award winner, Meryl Streep - nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the movie.

“Boring,” jokes Pine.

“I mean, I don’t want to say disappointing,” adds Kendrick, without skipping a beat.

“Uninspired,” adds Pine.

Set in an alternate world of Grimm fairy tales, Into the Woods weaves the plots of several classic children's stories together, including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella. The film arrives in theatres on December 25.
