Kahani Pakistani - Dallas Part 1

The new year finds Kahani Pakistani in Dallas-Forth Worth, Texas, where Ayesha Gilani explores America's historic Western and Cowtown culture. The show begins with Ayesha's quick history lesson on Dallas and Fort Worth, and follows her to the Fort Worth Stockyards, a former army outpost turned bustling city. Through her journey, Ayesha takes a ride on a fascinating creature called the longhorn and speaks to its keeper to learn more about it, and then heads to the Cowtown Coliseum for the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, the world's only regularly running rodeo.

She then takes viewers on a trip back in time to the Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show which performed at this very location in 1909 and toured America years ago, which is reenacted to this day. In order to fully immerse herself in cowboy culture, the host heads to an 85-year old, family-owned, historic, high quality handmade Western wear maker called M.L. Leddy's where she speaks with real-life cowboys, "Buffalo" Kinzer and Benny Rogers about its history and its production process, and tries on some authentic Western wear to embrace her inner cowgirl to boot.
