Tanbuche monastary is one of the big and highest monastary in the world which is situated nearly at 4000mtr from sea level.There are 25 monks who used to live there but occasionally they move from one to another monastery.in a year once about sep there is always grate and interesting sherpa festival called mani rimdu, it is really different festival than other festival here in nepal.
