Researchers were able to outfit 3 of the human-sized sea creatures with cameras and are getting an unprecedented look at to what benefit the pigmentation manipulating skill is used.

Getting recording equipment attached to a squid is no small feat.

The animals are of an aggressive nature and have powerful beaks and sharp, toothy suckers that make quick work of warding off predators and claiming prey.

This is the first time video devices have ever been placed on them.
