With Valentine’s Day around the corner, host Ayesha Gilani takes viewers on a tour to discover the story of chocolate. Beginning at D.C.’s Union Kitchen, a professional kitchen space for rent by chefs and cooks, Ayesha speaks with the owners of Undone Chocolate while helping them create and package a fresh batch of luxurious, handmade chocolate.

Next, to learn about the discovery and origins of chocolate, Ayesha heads to the National Botanic Garden’s cacao tree exhibit and speaks to botanist, Dr. Susan Pell, about the tree. Then viewers take a trip to the Chocolate Lovers' Festival and see through the eyes of Saqib Ul Islam how deeply ingrained in American culture the food is.

Lastly, curious about Pakistan’s adaptation of the delicacy, Ayesha shares a story about how chocolate is made a part of dessert in the food capital, Lahore.
