Coast Guard Rescues Man Walking On Frozen Lake To Canada

Coast Guard members recently rescued a man who had planned to walk to Toronto from Detroit. The 25-year-old male actually caught officials off guard when they spotted him trekking across the frozen Lake St. Clair in Michigan.

The Coast Guard recently rescued a man who had planned to walk to Toronto from Detroit. The 25-year-old male actually caught officials off guard when they spotted him trekking across the frozen Lake St. Clair in Michigan. 

On Thursday, they were onboard an icebreaker when they noticed him moving across the ice and saw that he wasn't appropriately dressed for the cold weather. Crew members approached him on foot and spoke with him for a bit.
