The cinema International is a very history-charged place. Until 1989 it was the premier cinema for GDR films. Nowadays it is still one of the biggest and certainely most beautiful cinemas in Berlin. On Saturday nights the International usually turns into a club. The first Saturday in the month belongs to the gay scene. The second Saturday is a lesbian party and the rest usually general techno, minimal and electro parties. One of them is Einklang, that is not just another electro event. It mixes different music styles and Djs with live bands like "Tangowerk".
