Idiot with gun: Drunken guy fires off several rounds, injures random stranger

Guns are illegal in Taiwan, so it’s a big deal when you say that you were accidentally shot while sitting in your living room watching TV.
Grandma Lily here explains that after the family dinner on Chinese New Year’s Eve, she, her children, and grandchildren, were sitting in the living room watching TV, when her 20 year old grandson started yelling.
The young man’s leg began gushing blood and the family immediately called emergency services, after he’d been rushed to hospital the doctors removed a bullet from his thigh. The wound was non-life threatening and missed any vital blood vessels or bone but everyone was wondering where it had come from.
Police returned to the home and discovered a bullet hole in the screen mesh on the window.
After interviewing neighbors police learned that a man had been drinking with friends in a neighboring residence. The man demanded that his girlfriend leave with him, but as she was having a run at the mah-jong table she decided to stay. The unnamed man was upset and drunkenly fired off all the rounds in a handgun he was carrying. One of the stray bullets must’ve struck Grandma Lily’s grandson.
Grandma Lily explains they heard the gunshots but assumed the noise was just firecrackers which are commonly set off during the Chinese New Year holiday.
Police are still investigating and have yet to locate the shooter.
