Child steals $10K: 11-year-old girl steals from her grandma for Arkansas-Florida taxi ride

An 11-year-old Arkansas girl gave her parents quite the scare when she went suddenly missing in the middle of the night.

Alexis Waller stole $10,000 from her grandmother then called a cab to drive her to Florida to visit a boy she met on vacation.

When the girl’s parents went to her room to wake her up for school, she was gone. Bryant police located the girl using her phone records.

The 11-year-old made it all the way to Atlanta, Georgia, some nine hours away from her home.

The Waller family drove overnight to pick up their daughter. They said punishment will be taking away her cell phone and makeup.
