Extreme Zip lining: This crazy 3km-long zipline descends 200m in just a few seconds - TomoNews

Forget hiking. In Slovenia, one tourist took in the breathtaking views using an adrenaline-pumping zip line.
Zip lining is an extreme outdoor activity where a participant dangles from a taut steel cable and slides at high-speed from one point to another. It is certainly not for the faint hearted.

The Bovec zip line is situated in Slovenia's Učja Canyon, treating tourists to awesome panoramic views of Mount Triglav and the Bovec basin. It is also one of the longest zip lines in Europe.

The Učja Canyon is relatively untouched and is under the protection of Natura 2000, a group of nature protection areas administered by the European Union.
While conventional hiking allows for nice views while walking in the woods, zip lining provides adrenaline junkies a more exciting way to catch the sights.
