Killing Fields

Anti-War, Big Shanty isn't afraid to funk up the blues with Alternative Beats, or be rejected for denouncing politicians who start wars and send heroic young people to fight as on "Killing Fields" where he asks, "when will we ever learn".

Not all Big Shanty songs exhort world peace but all tell stories, tales of lost love, false prophets, girls gone bad, crusin' down blacktops and living on the edge.

Shortly after Big Shanty came on the scene he was was nominated; Best Blues Song of 2006, "KILLING FIELDS" and "BIG SHANTY" nominated; Best New Artist Debut 2006 for his music in a genre of "Fusion" Blues where big Club Beats are transformed into dada Rock, Funk and Delta Blues then.... it's twisted.
