MQM Organizes Candlelight Vigil In London To Pay Homage To Martyrs Of Safoora Tragedy
The MQM organized a condolence meeting in London to pay homage to the martyrs of the Safoora Chowrangi tragedy. Senior Deputy Convener of the MQM Nadeem Nusrat, other members of the committee and office-bearers and workers of MQM UK attended the programme.
The participants lit candles in memory of the martyrs. Speaking on the occasion Mr Nusrat said that the Safoora tragedy was a black page in the history of Pakistan. Terrorists have set the worst example of brutality by targeting innocent people, including women and children, of a peaceful community.
Mr Nusrat expressed solidarity with the Ismaili community and demanded immediate arrest of the terrorists involved in the incident.
