Referred to diagram:
Let there be two points A(x1,y1) and B(x2,y2)
A point P(x,y) is dividing line segment by k1:k2
By construction we have C vertically downward to P and horizontally rightward to A.
Similarly we have D vertically downward to B and horizontally rightward to P.
so C(x,y1) and D(x2,y) ....
