Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LCD handheld review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com To coincide with the release of their first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles console game on the NES, Konami released this LCD handheld game in 1989. Featuring the same art as the NES cartridge and uniquely shaped hardware reminiscent of a robot or alien from the 1950s, this handheld gave players three games to choose from. In game one, players must rescue April O’Neil by grabbing the key from the bottom of the sewer water. In games two and three, April is in a strange bubble, and players must blow it up by recovering bombs. Take the fight to the Foot on the go! This LCD handheld pairs particularly well with a Partners In Kryme soundtrack and some serious deep-dish action, dudes.
