Banten - 1972 (full album)

Dutch experimental jazz fusion quintet formed September 1971. Banten made just the one album in 1972, a very wide-ranging one, from free-jazz avant-garde through to to complex jazz fusion, including classical themes and a Thelonius Monk cover. All the musicians became better-known later, not least Henny Vonk in The Chris Hinze Combination.
