I’m going to start by sharing my own thoughts on what’s so great about email marketing. Obviously if you are a seasoned marketer then you probably already know this stuff, but I wanted to include it for the noobs… So if you are more experienced just scroll down a bit…
What’s So Great About Email Marketing?
Most Internet marketers making 6 Figures plus agree that email marketing is one of the best, highest ROI marketing activities you can spend your time on.
In fact, I know very, very few marketers who are making real money (20K+/month) who don’t have email mailing lists that they market to on a consistent, strategic basis…
Sure, I know a few affiliate marketers who focus solely on buying traffic and then sending that traffic to affiliate offers without capturing email addresses, but there is a high learning curve for that kind of thing, and it requires a sizable up front investment.
Email marketing on the other hand is ridiculously cheap to get started with, and it something that can easily be scaled up to 6 figures plus, without needing to invest hardly any money at any point along the way. In fact, I know people making hundreds of thousands per month in gross profit, with email lists that only have like 100K names on them!
(I know, these may seem like a pretty ridiculous figures if you are just getting started with this stuff… But that's why this is such an exciting industry.)
Plus, another cool thing about email marketing is the fact that you don’t need to worry about constantly buying traffic in order to make sales. If you do things right you can just keep selling to your list over and over again, and make a ton of sales every time that you hit send! Pretty sweet indeed…
