lesson#11
How to write equation of straight line? (2)
How to write the equation of a slant line (non-vertical and non-horizontal line)?
CASE-1: If slope and y-intercept of a non-vertical line are given, we will use
Slope-intercept from: y=mx+c
here m=slope and c=y-intercept
Math Ex 4.3 Part 11
Slope Intercept From of Equation of Straight Line.
Theorem: Equation of a non-vertical straight line with slope "m" and y-intercept "c" is given by
y=mx+c
SPECIAL NOTE: If the line passes through origin then c=0
Equation will become y=mx
Math Ex 4.3 Part 11
CASE-2: If a point and slope of a non vertical line are given, we will use
Point-Slope from: y-y1=m(x-x1)
here (x1-y1) is given point and "m" is slope.
