On 5th July 1977, General Zia imposed martial law on the people of Pakistan; what followed after was an unending political victimization of the opposition and criminal use of religion.
Not only did the policies of General Zia negatively affected the state of Pakistan during his unjust tenure, but they also continue to haunt the country today. Thus, "The Great Tyranny" has not yet finished.
