Thomas Ferguson set out to prove the Book of Mormon by Archaeology yet he could not find any Archaeological evidence at all for it.

The Book of Mormon mentions the presence of things such as donkeys, cattle, horses, oxen, sheep, swine, goats, elephants, wheat, barley, figs, silk, steel, bellows, brass, breast plates, chains, iron working, plows, (steel) swords, scimitars, and chariots, yet there is no archaeological evidence for these things during Book of Mormon times.

And we did find all manner of ore, both of gold, and of silver, and of copper.

Mosiah 9:9
And we began to till the ground, yea, even with all manner of seeds, with seeds of corn, and of wheat, and of barley, and with neas, and with sheum, and with seeds of all manner of fruits; and we did begin to multiply and prosper in the land.

Alma 20:6
Now when Lamoni had heard this he caused that his servants should make ready his horses and his chariots.

Ether 7:9
Wherefore, he came to the hill Ephraim, and he did molten out of the hill, and made swords out of steel for those whom he had drawn away with him;
