Two men and six buffaloes were killed while another man was injured when a truck carrying animals from Punjab plunged into a deep ravine at Talash on Thursday, residents and police said. They said the driver Shabir Ahmad s/o Hakim Ali of Qasoor Punjab lost control on the truck when it reached a sharp turn at Moli Khat in the jurisdiction of Talash police station. As a result two persons including the driver and Rashid Ahmad s/o Rehmatullah of Attok were killed on the spot while the cleaner Lal Din was injured. Six of the buffaloes were also killed on the spot. The injured was rushed to the district head quarter hospital Timergara while locals retrieved the dead bodies and dispatched them to Punjab. The Talash police registered a case and started investigation.
