Bonez is a 5 piece independent Australian band founded in early 2013. Since its formation, Bonez has achieved significant recognition amongst the national underground music scene with their persistent touring, electrifying stage antics and originality.
After returning from various long stints on tour, Bonez took time off the road with the intention of elevating the sound to the next level with the inclusion of a full time drummer and second guitarist. The Line up, now complete consists of: Tomi Gray (Vocals), Bernardo Lopes, (Bass), Hugh Jones (Drums), Paul Mason (Guitar) and Ben Frank (Guitar).
In August 2014, Bonez went back in the studio to write and record its second EP, “Let’s Get Weird” which is set for release in early 2015 worldwide. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Jungle Studios in Sydney, the EP consists of 5 original songs and features new elements that promise to please ears.
Following the launch of the first single with the same name, “Lets Get Weird” on the 15th of January 2015, Bonez will pack their gear for an extensive tour of the Australian East Coast, kicking off on the 26th of January in Brisbane, after which Bonez head out on a full national tour in April, reaching Western and South Australia as well as Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, backed up with an international tour of the US for the second semester. The world of music has a mutiny on its hands, so let’s get weird!
