In 2011, when Brock Lesnar was diagnosed with a recurring bout of diverticulitis, very few imagined that he would pursue his career in contact sports. Lesnar returned to the UFC not long after, but was sent packing by former Strikeforce champion, Alistair Overeem, and Lesnar officially retired from Mixed Martial Arts. While the most optimistic fan hoped for a potential return to the WWE for the former King Of The Ring tournament winner, and the youngest WWE champion in history, not many would’ve thought it would be possible for Lesnar to return to the WWE ring.
A year later, Lesnar signed with the WWE, and immediately made a huge impact by taking down the former WWE champion, John Cena on the night of his return. Since then, Lesnar has been the most dominant force to have stepped foot inside the WWE ring in the past decade, and had an incredible 2014, during which he defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania to become the first man to pin or submit the Deadman at the grandest stage. He would later go on to beat John Cena in the most lopsided WWE title match in history, and had an incredible run as the WWE World Heavyweight champion.
However, WWE missed the boat on a couple of dream feuds Lesnar could’ve had since his return, although some of those feuds are still possible. In this article, we take a look at 10 dream matches involving Lesnar that we never got to see, including with the legends from the past.
